James Takehara, PT, DPT, CEAS
James is the owner and Director of Cypress Coast Physical Therapy. He has been practicing for 19 years and has experience in multiple clinical settings including inpatient and outpatient orthopedic. James graduated with a Bachelors in Physical Therapy from CSU Long Beach in 1998, and went on to obtain his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences in 2010. He is also a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist, FMS/SFMA Certified, and is in the process of becoming certified in Matheson Functional Capacity Evaluations. Through a wide variety of continuing education, and self-learning, James has always strived to improve and further his knowledge. He specializes in joint mobilization, manual therapy, movement correction, and taping to name a few. James has a passion for learning language and is fluent in Japanese, Spanish, and currently studying Italian. In his free time James enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, surfing, biking, Judo and anything else outdoors.
Anna Dabrowski, PT, DPT
Anna received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY in 2009. After graduating, she worked in Cardiac Rehabilitation at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City for 2 years. She then transitioned to an outpatient orthopedic setting where she specializes in McKenzie technique which has a heavy emphasis on discogenic pathologies. She is experienced in treating a wide range of conditions from sport injuries and everyday impairments to post-operative rehabilitation. Anna is an avid runner in her spare time and enjoys hiking, biking, traveling and indulging in gourmet food and wine. Anna speaks fluent Polish.
